Default Round about cost for a forged 347?

Whats the estimate for a forged 347 (pistons, rods, polished crank, new untouched heads with all the works) including labor and with me providing the block (old blown block)? I'm thinking around 8 for the total rebuild.

just use a stock crank, eagle rods and je pistons. i'd say that should be a little bit cheaper than 5 g's.

My rough quote was for a shortblock without heads/cam, coverings or accessories.

A complete longblock with heads turnkey will be more. Too lazy to price that setup at the moment.

Figure $3,500 - $4,000 for the short block + $1,000ish for install + $500ish for tuing + $1,500 - $2,500 for heads ( depending how crazy you get ).. It adds up quick.

[QUOTE=Daily T/A] 8g's is what my builder is charging me and I was just wondering if thats an average price.
It includes:
stock polished crank $150....and balanced....
diamond pistons $580
lunati rods $700
all machine work $400
6.0 heads $1800
new cam $395
pushrods $109
lifters $100
ls6 oil pump $140
arp head bolts and studs $400
160 stat $46
mls head gaskets and other misc gaskets and seal $250
blueprint, assembly, install, and tuning... Say $2000

You forgot rings... $180
You also forgot a good timing set $120

I came up with $7370 and thats including parts you forgot and using a big amount ($2000 $500 of that is tuning...) for labor.
