Just another day at the track??
That's Sweet. Can't get over how shiny the track is, now that is how every track should be prepped......So when are you going to let her rip, I know you still have some left in that Bird
And yes I know Harlans car makes the power to lift em like that with ease....wasn't implying that it was the track, just haven't seen a "prepped" track in a long time.
Why don't you race that car in the Milan races?
Kurt
Just a function of time and can't seem to find enough of it!!
The car was running great all day and I was expecting a big run for the end of the day. I had moved down the track to get some better footage of the chute and got surprised by the wheel stand on the last run.
Hence the problems trying to follow the bouncing ball at full zoom.
The club that we were visiting with at Norwalk was really just there for their own TNT and grudge racing. So the track prep was minimal and not at the sticky level we had a few weeks ago at Norwalk when we got to see the car out for the first time at our club event. Still, that last 60' was pretty nice considering it was the back wheels.

Congrats again to Harlan, Derty and the guys for all their awesome work. We'll be looking forward to the speedy recovery for the M-9 event up at Stanton.

Derty: NO TIME!!!....Matt works for the general, everybody knows thats just one big picnic! LOL
Get those training wheels on it and come to Milan. Tell them you have the garrett brand roto muffler. You know the chute just has to be there, you don't need to use it. I never pulled it on the blue car because I did not think the zip ties would hold!!!
Kurt

Steve, are you Matt's official PR guy? I guess every rock star needs an official spokesman.
Congrats guys and keep up the good work!

Needless to say everyone is excited for Matt's accomplishments. We've put a lot of work into his car and it shows. And since I'm not doing much with my car right now, it's a very refreshing break until next year. Man you are haulin the mail! I am very happy to see your combo coming together. When are you gonna do us an in-car video? I mean if that's too much trouble, we won't mind going for a ride!!!!
I'd like to see you do that at our track rental on October 23rd. Click the link....
