I mounted the mesh with some epoxy, I just traced the plate cover outline on it with a sharpie(thick tip) and cut out 1 inch wider than the out line. I then molded it around the back of the opening, you will have to cut diagonal cuts in the mesh at the corners so it forms evenly around the opening. Take it out again, bend it down a lil tighter and then mount it again and put the epoxy around on the top sides and bottom, use as much as you think it will need. I made sure it had enough to cover the mesh without the mesh "popping through it" It's a pain but worth it. Patience is your friend doing this. Make sure the epoxy is getting thick before doing this as it will just slop out everywhere
No behind pics as I was high on epoxy fumes, and my nerves were frayed at the end of the screen install lol.

I'm at home now, i'll be here for an hour or two...have to deposit my $$ and pay my loan....easy come easy go....damn credit cards lol.

I like the mesh. I frequent the Home Depot Racers Supply quite often. Find lot's of good race parts there.
I'll have to pick some up as I feel this nice intercooler won't look so hot once road debris takes it's toll.

I may try making a removable aluminum frame for the mesh or even a bar or tube type grill. Maybe have it held in place with a few of those Plastic push pins from the inside of the opening. The hard part would be forming the frame precisely to the opening so it looks good.
Just an idea at this point..

Its a joke, some people use Gutter Guard for the screen. Home Depot is a Home Improvement store, not sure if they are in every state.

Gotcha.. I use Home Depot for weird junk al lthe time, mostly for my Reef tank adventures but cars too. I just thought maybe they had some kind of weird specialty department. LOL

Thats the funniest thing I've heard all day. Yep, me and the friends joke around about Home Depot, cause we get odds and ends there like plastic elbows, that cool looking mesh lol, and they have just about every nut and bolt there.....and capscrews too, spray paint, various threaded rods, metal for welding and welding supplies, sheetmetal for lil projects, tools, all kinds of stuff......hence the Home Depot Racer Supply title. Its pretty sad when you can find more of your odds and ends there than at the local autozones or checkers.
