Supercharging the Z06
I recently purchased a 2005 Z06 engine out of a brand new vette. Some doctor in Dallas decided he needed more than an LS6 for his car. Fortunately, I was in the right place at the right time. You gotta love rich doctors. I intend to transplant this engine into my 97 Chevy SWB truck. I am also going to Procharge the truck. I was curious if anyone has thrown that blower on an LS6. What kind of numbers could I expect? I am shooting for a high 11 sec truck pushin around 600 hp. Holla back if you have any thoughts or experience with this blower setup or transplant.

Guys, guys.......
I believe the current Corvette offering is:
2005 Corvette (C6 platform), LS2 engine with A4 or M6 transmission.
I don't think there is a 2005 Z06.....or a C5 with an LS2!

I'm running LS6 heads, Hot Cam, and SLP LT headers on the LS1 block in my Camaro SS. With a slipping belt and seeing 5psi with a D1-SC unit, I made 467rwhp/485rwtq. I've got the slip problem fixed and I'll be taking it in for another dyno tune next week. My goal was 500rwhp (with a safe tune) and I hope to hit it, perhaps with an additional lb of boost since the belt started slipping at 5200rpm. I'll post my results when I get them. But due to the high compression of the LS6 heads, you can't run a lot of boost. So you'll be limited on how much you can run. I'm hoping to stay around 6 - 6 1/2lbs.

And by the way, who cares if it's an 05 or an 04?
