Man do I hear that! Slowhawk has been talking about relocating to our neck of the woods, and would no doubt be the premier tuner around here. Well, maybe if we get enough of us who are serious about our cars up here in the stratosphere, we can start to get our cars running good. I won't be up and running until around the end of January, but we'll have to get together for sure, as you well know, the enthusiast community around here is a little lacking (with the exception of kids and their Hondas).

To address your boost pressure dropping off. I have a couple of questions.

A.) What is your backpressure?
B.) Internal or External Wastegates?

If the turbos utilize internal wastes gates it is normal for that to happen.

MM - same wastegate as you...with eboost set to 0 the spring is 5.9psi.

something is wrong...i went to the track today...

started at setting 45...and kept cranking it up all the way to setting 70!!!

boost was 11.1psi to 11.8psi

best was 12.4 @ 124 2.2 60' (11.8psi run) im still learning to drive the car and launching and all that stuff...kept roasting the 16' drags in first and 2nd gear. please keep in mind my altitude people ~6000+

im going to order a 12psi spring from ITS...so hopefully that will get me at least my 12psi i want

my spring is 10psi.

your not supposed to 'count on' a spring holding more than twice its rating.. maybe thats whats happening??

hmmmm.... maybe i will switch out my wastegate with my racegate with 9psi spring and see what happens...

thanks for the offer..but i am tuning using my in car PLX wideband.

looking to see what some 16' ET or MT will run me now

Point of reference, the gain settings on most boost controlers can be equated into a percentage. That percentage is the Gain derived by the # your entered into the controler times the spring pressure.
So, in this case to figure out the commaned boost, take 5.9 x.70=4.13psi gain
5.9psi + 4.13psi in gain =10.03psi.

nice numbers!! I'm slower but I got AIR!!! Of course when you trap 140+ with the window down a tick, you will have plenty of air!!!! Just razzin' ya. Great numbers.....hopefully you will have some great times to come soon.
