Lightbulb At a crossroads . . . need help

I currently have the following mods done to my 2002 WS6 M6

MTI SII Cam ( 224 220 581 581 116LSA )
Meizere EWP
ASP Pulleys
FIPK
Jantzer TB
Kooks Headers
Kooks Catted Y
SLP Loudmouth
42# Motorsport Injectors
NOS 5177 Kit

I made 390 RWHP but only 372 RWTQ on motor and i NEED more power.

I havent spent any big money on my internals or heads yet and I need a firm plan on which way to go . . . .hoping you guys can help me figure it out.

I was/ am leaning towards a high compression forged 427 . If i go this route l think I will be forced to replace my headers, intake , TB to get the most out of the setup .

What would I gain with the STS turbo kit on my existing motor at aprox 6# of boost ??

What about the pro-charger at about 8 # ??

Staying NA and going with the 427 has the added benifit of not adding any more weight to the car but will require big $$$ and mean pretty much dumping my exiting motor with very low km's on it.

Im tempted to throw on a power adder and stuff it with boost till it pops . . . then upgrade to forged shortblock when Im forced to . . . . I wouldnt really be out any more $$$

Also If I went STS will headers hurt performance ?? Should I sell my exhaust and put the money into the 6.0 truck heads ??

Could I spray a 50 - 100 shot of nitrous on the STS kit as as intercooler when I jack up the boost to 8#

Im looking for aprox 500 rwhp before nitrous with similar torque down the road.

Any help would be great

why would you want to run boost and n2o? I understand a 50 shot or something to cool the intake under high boost, but no reason if you are just running some low boost or something.

I'm in the same boat as you, can't make up my mind between big cubes, supercharger, or turbo. I think the smart thing to do would be wait till my stock shortblock goes, and then get a 408 or 427, but in the meantime i'm slow.

I have a buddy that did boost and blower. The blower cam with the truck though. Lighting. 7.5 was his fastest in the 1/8. It was a bad *** truck untell his fuel sylinoid shut down and the nitours noid did not. So 15psi boost 125shot no fuel= BOOM BITCH. My suggestion is to go with small shot to cool the intake temp and boost the hell out of it.

Thanks for the replies

Yeah I would run the nitrous because I already have it here installed. Its a dry 5177 kit and I would spray aprox 50 - 80 through the maf to cool it down. Beats alki injection if u ask me

So would you agree it makes the most sence to boost my stock motor till it pops and then upgrade to a 427 . . .. ?

What would u guys run ?? STS - Vortech -or -Procharger ?

6.0 #317, GT-67, STS, 50 shot, FMIC, 8psi = easily over your goal.
You already have the injectors and cam.
