Default belt fraying any ideas? pic

this is a vortech. any ideas on what to check as to why the belt is fraying on the edge like this? This belt only has about 400 miles on it. There is nothing rubbing against it.

2nd that, check the alignment, probably off a tad. I saw this with my cogs when the tensioner wasn't aligned with everything else.

Belt is probably making contact with a pulley shoulder somewhere on the same side as the fraying.
