Default More New Toys....

Well i recieved my new toys on thursday and i had alot of work to get done yesterday..... before i go intot he toys ill tell you guys something.... hese 8 rib belts take alot more crap with them when they go then the 6 rib belts..... Now its not the the SDCE kits fault the belt broke.... i had left my belt zip tied hanging on the car while i was waiting for parts to arrive for emy FMIC install and somehow the belt touched the Alt. Pulley and ate into is about 2 ribs deep...... so i was seeing 6 psi still with a 6 rib kinda.. The belt started to fray but i ran it anyways..... it finally broke... at 6500 rpm... and grabed the wire going from the Alt. to the battery and bit into it cutting a 2" gash of open wire......... So i had to fix that and put my other new toys on..... my 3.4" blower pulley and my LM-1 wideband....... Driving around town the car whistles so much louder......... it does sound like a street sweeper coming down the street....... Ill be going back the the dyno reall soon... from liitle blips of the throttle it looks like im running pretty rich... 11.2:1 A/F. Now at idle the car is mid to high 14:1 A/F..... is that bad???? Ill head to Hoston for a retune as soon as im back from my Trip to Cali here after the 1st of the month.

At idle your AFR should be around 14.7 or so, no problem there.

working pretty good......... Trapped 126MPH and 99.98 mph in thr 1/8..... shitty 60' and a i think the tranny is starting to act up......... drove it there and back 350 miles............ it needs to go on a diet too 3940 lbs with me in it and the pass. seat and the stereo and jack in it......... time to save my $$$ like you said...im looking at a ART CARR TH-350.... i like there warranty alot better then Trans King.... called them both. Trans King is 90 days on the tranny and 1 year on the verter.... Art Carr was 1 yr on the tranny and 2 years on the verter made to fit a LS1 flywheel...... so its a tranny and a rearend and a set of slicks and im in the 10's with that 126mph trap speed.... how long till yours is up and running???
