Good FI setup?
STS turbo at 8 psi with methanol injection
SY3500 converter
Pro Yank 4l60e
Strange 12 bolt rear
Strano revalves/lowering springs
Bigger radiator/ 160 thermo
Trans cooler
Lighter seats, wheels
Most opinion seems to be that with proper fueling, 8 psi is okay with stock internals. That is my primary concern. I was hoping for about 475 or so rwhp with respectable cornering ability.
Any input would be appreciated.
Our LS1 test car is running high boost with methanol and an in house built 4l60e with PY3400E. If you give us a call, we will be more than happy to sort out the details for you pertaining to what you need for a successful setup.
For FI, you should consider the PY line of Yank converters.

Just go slow and don't go nutty on the boost. Make sure and data log everything and you'll be fine. I love my setup

I would still be careful with the stock fuel system on 8psi. You will still probably max out the duty cycle on your injectors and I wouldn't trust the stock fuel pump but you can upgrade little by little if you play it safe.
