Shooting for 800rwhp
His power all comes on within a 200rpm window. You have to worry about boost off the line, boost loss between shifts etc.
Taner can also drive like a **** with a six speed
Its going to be really tough with a six speed to run 9.4s with 800RWHP.
I used to go to Montgomery a lot. I started to put my car back to stock and sold off almost all of my performace parts. I have since decided to keep the car, so I have to start modifying it again.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time

you could run a tall gear ratio and still have good drivability with 800RWHP.
28 inch DR with 3.42 gears on the street would work well. 3800 stall and mid 9s would be cake on slicks at the track
I use ls1edit on my ss, and it is pretty good, but for your application it's nowhere near as good as the gen-7. The gen-7 is extremely consistent and consistency is key because it allows you to get closer to the edge without stepping over it.
If you were running a nitrous setup it wouldnt be such a big deal, a supercharged setup is harder because you have more load/rpm cells you typically traverse, but a turbo setup is the worst because you bounce all over the map, especially in street driving with a 6 speed.
The way calmap (the software you use to program the gen-7) is written, you can get several points corrected using the wideband, then you can look at the data in a graphical format and it becomes painfully obvious what your fuel curve looks like. This helps you to see where your problems are and why.
Also, the gen-7 has a wideband o2 option, which you should definitely get. You can program the gen-7 to operate in closed loop at WOT with the wideband, so if you are off of your AF target, it will start adding or pulling fuel to get it on the mark.
Your tuning strategy may vary, but my tuning strategy is to set the VE tables a couple percent rich (at high load), then use the closed loop wideband to pull fuel out. This way during quick transitions it's a little bit rich, and once you're in a gear under load it starts pulling out those few percent until you hit the desired AF. The result of this strategy is you go rich rather than lean on sharp transitions (IE: gear switches, like downshifting from 6th to 3rd).
The wideband o2 is a must. The sequential mode is optional. I run 83# injectors and I cant any difference difference between batch mode or seqential mode.
Ryan - you need to get that car up to MMP. I would really like to see it run.

I plan on running the stock one for a while to come, if I have a fuel issue, I will step up to the 75# High Impedance injectors, they are suppously going for $750, but well worth it from what I hear........
