After much deliberation and reading many cam charts, cards and such...I decided to go with the XT262H-14 cam for my heavy *** Monte. Here are the basic specs.:
DURATION 262 269
DURATION @ .050 218 218
LIFT .462 .455
LOBE SEP 114 +4
2200-6400RPM
With the 1.6 rockers I have, it will actually increase the duration 2 -3 degrees and the lift will be .493/.485. The higher intake lift will get the more air into the cylinders quicker and give me more initial power. The higher duration on the exhaust side will hold the valve open a little longer to build boost and will aid in spooling the turbos quicker. A hard launch/good 60' time should be immediate.
As always Comp Cams tech./sales guys are customer service oriented, take all necessary information pertinent to the car in which you are installing the cam, are considerate and spend WAY more time with you to find your cam solution.

The lift is purposely small. I am a strict follower of the Kenny Duttweiller and Red Armstrong camp. You don't need big lift cams to make big horsepower. ![Grin](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_grin.gif)
If I use 2 stock GN turbos - 500 to 600 rwhp
...2 TE-44 turbos - 600 to 700
...single TE-45 turbo - 600 to 700
...single PT-72 turbo - 700 to 800
The hard part is deciding which turbos to use. More than likely I'll use 2 GN turbos for now. That way I have the te-45 or 72 for my new C5.
