Default videos, dynos and/or times for TTi kit

I have made up my mind, and the TTi kit fund is underway. I am just looking for people who have some track times, dyno charts, and videos of the kit. I would prefer a lightly modifed vehicle only because I want to get a good undertanding of where I will be at. I will have lq9 heads with the comp918 kit up top, and the bottom end will stay completely stock....untill I get bored with it Anyway, just looking for a little bit more information from you TTi guys. I would really like to find a video so I can know what I am going to sound like. But, anything ya got put 'er up here.

as far as i know...there are only 3 on this site that have the kit.

actually..which kit are you talking about? Race or Street?

street. I would love to go race, but cant afford the bottom end build up. Eventually it will get built up piece by piece, but that wont be until after the street kit is on and running.

there is also of info and pics on my site, evena video.
on stock motor with the T76 running 5psi with pump gas, i didnt make much HP, 385rwhp on a mustang dyno.
i built the motor (9:1 cr) and boosted to 10psi and made 512rwp/536rwt on the same dyno.
consistantly trapped 125-126mph and ran a best of 11.82@126 on street tires.

smokinHawk. What is the psi that the wastegate will run without any tweaks, right out of the box? Is it 5? How long did you run on the stock bottom end? I dont think I am going to touch it, but I am getting lq9's with the 918 kit.

smokinhawk what do you have for valve springs? Do you have your dyno sheet from when you had the stock motor at 5 psi? Also did you dyno any higher the 5 psi on your stock motor?

im not sure what setting turbotech sends the wastegate at. they probably have the 5psi spring in it, but i would check and make sure it was set at 5psi if i was to install it. You can adjust the spring setting from there, but i would switch to a different spring if you vary far from the 5psi (like 10psi).

I didnt stay to long on the stock engine, about two months after i began blowing white smoke, thought i blew a head gasket or something, but now i dont think i did, cause when the engine was dissassembled, the gaskets appeared fine, i think the smoke was tied to the oil return line as it wasnt very straight then and didnt drain properly.

the lq9's with the 918 springs will be a good choice to help your setup.

I never dynoed more the the 5psi on the stock engine. i have the dyno from it but havent scanned it in, i probably made 100rwhp increase over stock as it was a mustang dyno. THere were other people on here that have dyonedat 8-9psi on stock engine (with race gas) and have gotten over 480rwhp with that kit.

I wish i could tell you what springs i have right now, but i dont know. I got my cam and told my engine builder to get some springs to match the cam as i didnt know much about springs back then. I need to figure out whats in there though.
