I have not been talking to Magnuson. All I am saying is that it is supposed to be Eaton-based.

Okay, it's not a Magnacharger. Can we play a guessing game? Is this a project that Speed Inc. is putting together? I'm holding my breath....

i would doubt it would be intercooled cause of the extreme space limitations, so far, nobody (besides whoever is doing this one) has been able to fit the S/C under the cowl.

Speed Inc. is into Turbos now. I dought that. If it is Eaton based it is not Whipple or KB. I believe Whipple and KB are the same company if I am not mistaken.

No I was wrong. They are two different companies.

The two counter rotating rotors have three lobes, which intermesh during operation. These twisted rotors, along with specially designed inlet and outlet port geometry, help to reduce pressure variations resulting in a smooth discharge of air and a low level of noise during operation. This arrangement also improves efficiency over traditional Roots superchargers. With helical rotors and an axial inlet the Eaton supercharger can be spun to up to 14,000 rpm, thereby reducing package size.
That quote is actually from the Magnacharger web site....Talk about a curve ball in the dirt

Have you ever seen the rotors on the inside of an actual roots style blower? The difference in that and an eaton based supercharger is exactly what they said, the original roots blowers don't have twisted rotors, the edges are perfectly straight whereas the eaton style have a 60 degree twist kind of like a twizzler.

Thanks for that piece of information, I was unaware of that.

I figured it was a Magnacharger since he took the quote directly from their site

That quote is from Eaton and is copied by all of the companies that use Eaton blowers. Doing a search on that quote on google showed that Yella Terra sells eaton kits too. Could this be the company?

I have a question. How will this fit on top of the motor but yet still be low profile/thin enough to go under the cowl section of the F-body?

Hopefully some sort of intercooling system will be integrated with the supercharger. I can't wait to see this thing come out. I think it will do good considering there seems to be a good amount of demand for it.

If you guys were crafty enough, you could make a new GTO based kit like the one on my '69 fit a 4th gen. You would just have to cut the cowl area back a bit.
