Please help Hello everyone. I have a 2002 WS-6 with the Procharger P1SC-1 supercharger kit and I need some advise.
In a attempt to get more air flow I recently put on the LSX intake manifold (made by F.A.S.T.) along with there 90mm throttle body and IM having issues. When you fire the engine up the RPM's climb to 3k hold then drop down to 0-500. THen the car starts to miss horrably and backfire through the intake. I've checked all vacc lines and everything seems to be in order. I even tried the Granatelli mass air sensor and that didn't help matters at all.
Now the supercharger kit came with a Diablosport Predator with a new map preloded for the supercharger kit. Im thinking mabey that program they put into it is not use to seeing that much more air flow and the ECU is trying to retard timing to compensate. However as some of you may know it could be a number of probs.
The car is not ideling like it has a vacc leak. Once it drops down from that initial 3k spike it idels around 500rpm. Spartic, but never climbs above 500.
Besides the program IM really at a loss. Everything seems to be in order. The IAC seems to be functoning and the TPS seems to be opreating fine. Any sugesstions would really help out alot.

Thanks for the advice. It ended up that the map sensor fell out of the back of the intake when I was putting it in. If anyone is looking to do the F.A.S.T intake mod double and triple check that map BEFORE you bolt the manifold down. The F.A.S.T manifold dosnot have the little locking tab like the factory dose so it will pop out easey if it hits the hoses along the back firewall. IM going to take it for a spin now and see how she pulls!
