6.0 heads and boost

6.0 heads and boost I have a 1998 vette,ls1 magnuson supercharged with 3.0 pulley,which is about as small as you can go and I am getting 6.5 # of boost.I am maxed out on boost potential.I have a 220/224/114 cam and headers.I am putting on a set of ported and polished ls6 heads with 2.05 intake and 1.60 ex valves.The vender tells me that my c/r will be around 9.2 to 1.Will I need to have the heads milled and will this nullify the benefit of the 6.0 litre heads? Will the boost stay the same since the cam and exhaust will remain unchanged?I guess what I need to know is what affect will better flowing heads have on my boost and performance. thanks

That's lower than I have seen the truck heads'
swap-on CR said to be. They (317s) seem to be
nice castings, I spent a good hour today cutting
through one with the chop saw. They are not all
that beefy, there is not much thickness beyond
necessary. Nice passages though. Good for a flow
motor more than a pressure motor says I. If you're
maxed on pressure then relieve the volume flow
binds, the truck heads will flow, get a cam that
exercises them more, maybe a better intake/TB/
MAF (or MAFless) combo and start breathing like
Bill O'Reilly.
