How many ppl have built their own Front mounted Turbo, single or twin, on an F body? I never built one, and I know there is a lot to go into selecting the right stuff, but I am considering delving into this adventure.
My thoughts so far, would like to see what the truck manifolds in reverse look like as far as room and routability. Then work into a single front mount, 76 or 88mm large frame, with a FMIC. I have a friend that could work with mandrel bends and piping with me. I just dont know if this is something I should really be trying to do. Tearing down the engine and installing cams, heads, bottom halves etc...sure, Turbo
seems a little intimidating without ever doing one before.
