HOLY CRAP!! If I was to bet a moth ago I would have bet against you breaking 8.50. I am amazed at what you have managed to get out of that car so far considerng the weight and components in it. How much more do you think you really have in it? Is it an iron or aluminum block?

Congrats!

Ther was a guy that was on this board named Terry Berger and he told me that I didnt know what I was talking about when I said that .'As soon as the turbo guys get them figured out they will blow by the nitrous cars".

Now this car runs 8.40s with truck manifolds, hydraulic cam, stock intake manifold,LS1 heads and its 3500 pounds.

Congrats Mike, Steve and the rest of the folks (Kurt @ W2W, etc.) who made it happen, very sharp!

Car currently is a 402ci iron block? What does the converter flash to?

132mph in the 1/8th must be awesome.

Thanks guys, but sorry there is no video. We don't have any money left to by a camera.

Todd, Steve has done all the driving and will do so at Thunder. I'm the crew chief for this season.

This was pretty much the last passes we needed to get the car dialed in. Now it's time to turn it up. She's got a little left in er.

This weekend is going to be fun.
