joe sherman swears by both coatings - he won the first engine masters challenge!
my pistons are coated and it seems to work great.
-how many trucks out there run13's and get 20 mpg?
plus, the ls6 pistons come completely coated from the factory due to all the cold piston slap issues.

Check these ppl out:
http://www.swaintech.com/race.html

Street car? If u have some money burning a hole in your pocket, coat the bearing surfaces <calicocoatings.com>. Coatings don't last forever.

Turbo? Coat exh ports on the head and exh manifold (and turbo housing if $$$ permits). <swaintech.com>

Supercharger? Ditch it and get a turbo or two

(I can see them now )

Soend your money on good pistons. For $100 get the pistons coated. Otherwise, save your energy/money and invest them in a good fuel injection/ ignition system.
