Default SPAL or other Aftermarket Fans???

Looking to see what type of fan FI users are using, clearnace and cooling being considered for a FI setup. Currently the stock fans modified with ATIs D1SC kit, just doesnt seem to be doing the job. I see some recommend Dual SPALs and some singles.
Speed Inc has the SPAL 30102036 recommended on their site for a FI appliction.

Thanks,

Charlie

I'm running stock fans/radiator still. I haven't had any problems really. I run a flexilite kit with it also.

I run a 2 core rad, full width. Shortened to 17" tall to stand vertical, a single SPAL 16" puller, no Stat, water w/ water wetter only, stock waterpump coverted to use -20AN hoses.

Fan controls the water temp at 170°, I see 200° to 210° after a pass.

my $.02

Andy, Harlan, thanks. My buddies car is only running around 80-190 after a run, but on the street the temps get upward of 210+ so thats more of his concern. I thought I seen somewhere in here ppl using SPAL twin pushers, maybe pullers & wanted to get a little more info on it for him. He is thinking of going with an LT-1 Radiator and Spal puller fan setup now, guess the LT-1 has more cooling area?

Thanks,

Charlie
