Default Cometic Head Gaskets

Anyone have a set of Cometic head gaskets 4030 bore in stock or for sale??

Anyone running over 15lbs boost with GM MLS?

Last time (before my most recent rod problems) ran GM MLS with only 10 psi and a 100 shot with ARP head bolts and was leaking through 2 cylinders..

Going back together with ARP studs. But more PSI this time around..

i ran stock gaskets with arp studs to over 16psi many times. probably made 30+runs on them. i also ran 13psi and a 75shot a few times. i had head gasket problems untill i over torqued the head studs. i went 15ft-lbs over what the directions said to and had no more problems.

Harlan runs the GM MLS I believe. I think he's over 15lbs of boost.

i have run the cometic and the gm mls to 20psi myself with pump gas/meth without problems with either....not that psi is the determining factor for how good a head gasket is...

I have a pick up truck with GM MLS gaskets. It has 15 psi daily for the last 15,000 miles with no problems.

Leaking, bad seals, failure even NA after 1 year.

GM MLS is the best way to go if you want a good seal the first time. Not overpriced either.

I order the cometic gaskets for my 383ci from LG motorsport .to lower my CR soo i can use the STS turbo at 10psi with mthanol injectors on my motor.but i need to now how thick the gaskets that i can use to lower my CR from 11.1 to 10.5 or 10.1

wich is better the cometic or MLS to lower my CR.

Is that an approximate number, or are they really .050? +/-.001 makes a slight difference.

Claimed compressed thickness is .052 on GM MLS gaskets.

Mine see 22 to 23 psi

I'm running GM MLS gaskets, so far we have seen north of 30psi with them. No problems, yet.
