For LT1s the Felpro 1074's have held, but different for LS1s go GM MLS. Seal, your setup at the time was not boost friendly to say the least. To pull 0-150 runs the tune needs to be right on and properly set up. The overlap on the CC306 = lost energy, which intern would be another cause of heat and untrue boost #s. As Tiago said, and i am doing, is leaving extra cylinder clearance for heat expansion. Florida heat is also not fun to deal with, but here comes the cool weather

I guess I don't know what I am talking about I have never went 10's in something with 400+ to the tires. 600hp weather it be from a turbo motor or spray should go fast down the track regardless. If you can't build boost of the line then why bother, just to get a good dyno number, come on now. Just cause you can't get one to get out of the hole doesn't mean me or some other joe blow can't. W/O a intercooler these things produce some crazy high IAT's they need to be intercooled in some way. I have seen one motor go down in person due to this and improper tunning.

Who said all the STS owners are track cars Some people enjoy racing cars on the street you know or even just enjoying the extra power

Point takin, I know there is a lot of fast cars that don't make it to the track. BUT, there has to be some people who want to go to the track and go fast. Everyone clams them to be fast, most people who indeed have a fast car like to get a number at the track. Just like the t-rex came out and people ran 10's with stock heads and there is stock long block cars going 10's boosted. Were is the STS cars. I am not ******* the STS setup its a novel idea, but I would really like to see one perform. If you can spend 50-150 on a dyno session why not 15 to race.

I don't understand... Are you saying that even though it (STS) can perform well in a truck that it can't in a car? Or you mean that you'd simply rather see an F-body at the track with the kit because it's easier to figure out wether it's a decent setup or not since you don't know as much about trucks? I'm lost...

the motor is a 6.0L iron block.

Eagle Forged H-Beam Rods
Wiseco -25cc 2618 Forged Pistons
New 6.0L crank
Clevite Race Bearings
ARP Main Studs
ARP Head studs
Block cut for O-Rings
PP Stage 3 Heads (2.08/1.60)
Cam(231/224 .595/.578 116lsa + 4)
LSX 78mm
Janzter TBody

I picked up a Nasty Nate Fuel system too...
60# motrons

I need a rear and some tranny work and I'll just about be finished.

My Spec3I took a dump after 900 miles of use 400 of which was a break-in. When I get that straightened out, I'll be back in business.

Don't know much about trucks? I seem to do Ok in that department. Seen my 4.3l or v-8 track times? Anyway like I said I am not doggin the kit, I would just like to see more of a showing at the track. The Silverado SS's I have seen perform at the track did very poorly. I mean 14 seond passes. there wer stock headed NA SS's going faster that day. I see you have done very well with yours though. Just think there would be more of them flyin, like yours.
