Where can I get the STS kit installed in Southern California?

Not sure if there is a dealer down there yet but just about any shop can install the kit. It's the tuning I'd be really worried about. Please don't let a rookie LS1 tuner do it. Make sure they know LS1s AND turbo tuning. It's not like tuning an N/A or even a blower car. Bad things happen when the tune is not right, even on low boost.

It mihgt be worth your while to take a road trip to the Bay area. Synergie is doing a great deal.

Since the STS can keeps the original exhaust manifolds and doesn't move the cats, would this be likely to pass an emssions test here in California? I know you can just remove it before testing, but I was wondering if we would even have to if you know the guy won't look under the car?
