Makes you wonder how a few years ago everyone thought the aluminum block was junk, that you could not keep LS1 heads on at more than 10 pounds of boost, and that you NEEDED to run a C5R block to make any kind of power!

With the HP and Weight of APE's car there is no reason it shouldn't go 7's if they can get a good launch. This may not happen today but they will keep trying until they make it, and I believe they will. IIRC, most of the posts I remember reading from them say that same thing.
Anyways, I'm off to the track to see what happens, I'm sure someone will post up the times as they happen....

i was there last year at the shootout. all the huge hype, the drool, the rumors of 700 rwhp and more boost available.....and matt runs 11s lol. i think he has the combo working a bit better this year.

Holy crap thats smokin. Congrats harlan...push it to a 7.XX pass....i'll pitch in for a new block
