Yeah i give gongrats to Matt... i was there and saw the run.... speaking of APE's car.... its doing well for the 1st 3 passes its ever made..... what did your car do the first time it went to the track??????? It may not be there tomorrow, but there going to damn well try...... it will get there sooner or later.... at least there out there trying.................running a car on the dyno and at the track are two totaly different things..... Big props to everyone who ran well today....... its off to sleep to watch what unfolds tomorrow.

That is just sick. Probably pushing those tiny T66's at or close to their limit. I say with some more turbo and more cage 7's on the stock aluminum block and crank are just around the corner

Makes you wonder how a few years ago everyone thought the aluminum block was junk, that you could not keep LS1 heads on at more than 10 pounds of boost, and that you NEEDED to run a C5R block to make any kind of power!

Congrats to Harlan and the crew. They've done some amazing work this year to hit their targets. It's time for just a little bit more though.

Congrats Harlen and the crew. That's a VERY bas *** home built car for sure. It just gos to show ya that you dont need to be a shop owner to get the job done. Way to go down there and show them who was ready to step up tp the plate.

Actually there was a LOT of hype around Matt's (Harlan) car last year... he took it from the Dyno, to the trailor, then onto the track. Didn't even make 3 passes, but just like APE, he showed up a tried. Look we're he's at a year later.

With the HP and Weight of APE's car there is no reason it shouldn't go 7's if they can get a good launch. This may not happen today but they will keep trying until they make it, and I believe they will. IIRC, most of the posts I remember reading from them say that same thing.

Anyways, I'm off to the track to see what happens, I'm sure someone will post up the times as they happen....

AP haters....lame and go build your own rig and race them. otherwise shut up.

i was there last year at the shootout. all the huge hype, the drool, the rumors of 700 rwhp and more boost available.....and matt runs 11s lol. i think he has the combo working a bit better this year.
