I would chose something down in the 346-383 cid range, and buy it from one of the proven turbo LT/LS motor builders such as W2W, LPE, etc.

Turbo motors tend to like rpm's. Typically this means a short stroke/long rod motor. The LS/LT motors have proven to take a beating under big boost. The only problem is with a smaller cube motor a 101 will take a while to spool.

Thats what n20 is for it spools and cools.lol. I would stay in the stock cube area. W2W has a nice main girdle too.

how about a 4.00-4.125" bore
and a 3.62-4.00" strock

Steve and Mike use a T94 (or is it a 98?) with a 404 cubed iron block, i think they are close to running 7's if there tranny would have held.

with there old stall and when they had a 382 in it they didnt have spool problems.

I switched from a glide to a T400 this year and picked-up 2/10th. They will never break a Rossler T400.

For a 101 or any large turbo, I'd be more inclined to run a Dart or Motown block and be done with it.

Then you need to buy the one I own, which is good to around 2000 hp. As you know, karl sells T400 for various power levels.

IF it was me...350-375cid Dart/Motown/Bowtie block w/ lots of cylinder meat (GEN 1, 5 head bolts). Forged everything (duh), 14 degree pro-topline heads, single plane intake, 105mm TB, etc, etc.
