Default STS Vs D1 10psi

from slowhawks post in the eastern, looking good so far. Turbo is so much funner, I cant imagine some you guys with the 800 rwhp cars. Hopefully when we get a steady 14psi I will see some high 600hp mid 600 tq and then I will be done..... for now

"Went to the dyno again today with Mikes car.It was holding 12-14lbs on the street but not very steady. On the dyno it would only pull 10lbs again We are ordering a 10lb wastegate spring that will hopefully give us better control. So here is some graphs with 6 degree's less timing from last time and a graph of one of his high Procharger(24 degrees) dyno pulls against the STS so far.
Of course boost was up driving home after the dyno"

Blue is STS , Red is highest D1 pull I made so far

I believe F8L went through some problems getting the boost steady... May want to give him a yell and see what he did.

Great numbers Mike. If you compare the graph between the d1 and turbo, you can see the turbo tune is real conservative with A/F and Don says your timing is alot less that the D1. I'd say you you would make alot more power and tq if you upped the timing and A/F to what the D1 was at. I cant wait to see what the 14-15psi run is gonna look like.

D1 could take alot of timing due the the cam that was in there. The amount would be too dangerous for the turbo. I may push 20 but thats it. I dont need to blow up This thing is under boost alot longer then the d1 also. D1 made its power at 6800

My boost was shaky but would still boost as high as I wanted it to. Mike's got a different problem.

Tell Don to break out the welder and seal those heads down once and for all. LOL

Probably a ton faster considering he sees 14psi on the street (but only 10 on the dyno). Hopefully I get a ride on Saturday

Its making its power almost 2k sooner and the tq is way up. At 14 psi theres no comparison what so ever. Also everything in the graph is about 1k sooner on the street under load. That was a cold turbo too, seen as much as 80tq differance between a hot turbo and a cold one. Hard to tell the true power but when the stage 5 clutch slips sometimes you know you doing ok

Unless something changed, he is running Patriot LS6 heads while you're BSing.

Good runs Mike.
Are you going to find a Mustang Dyno to load you up better?

patriot 6.0l ls6 stage 2 heads - small turbo cam, -forged ls6 block

I picked it up from don tonight and its holding 14 psi on the street and I damn near **** my pants when it hit 10 and then jolted to 14 and almost sent me flying of the highway. Son of a bitch Don has been waiting all day for me to do it so he can now laugh since I almost died.

Final thought, there is no comparison to the super charger what so ever, I would walk my old setup by 4500. I took the wife out and the car hit 4th and felt like it left the ground, Don shes so not happy with you right now. Guess we will leave out our future plans so she dont know LOL!!!! I couldnt be happier with this kit so far.

No, not at all... Nothing with what you posted... It is totally another matter.
