6.0 boost motor!??

that would take care of the block, heads, rockers, crank, lifters(if you didn't get crazy on the cam), all the little bolts and covers and stuff.
not questioning anyone on the oil pump or timing set but is there a deficency in the stock parts at this level or is it more of an insurance thing?
6.0L block - $400 to $500
stock crank - $350 to $400 depending on where you get it
head studs - $230
main studs - $140
stock heads - $300 complete if you get lucky
decent rods - $600 to $800
pistons, pins, rings - $800
machine work - $400 to $500 (pin fit on pistons, rod, balance, hone)
bearings - $50 (depends on what kind)
gaskets - $30 (assuming GM MLS)
pushrods - $100
rockers - $200 (if you're lucky you have some with the heads)
cam - $300
timing set - $200 (atleast $100 for a decent chain)
oil pump - $100

I am probably going to have to have my crank turned .010.
I'm wondering how durability is going to suffer in relation to machine work done.
thanks
