Notice how they said I and not they. i dont think its him cause i just heard a rumor that they were dyno testing it yesterday and it throw a rod, so that puts them out. so i dont think its a convertable. maybe a 96 hard top with a lq4 in it?

Vanishing Point Race Cars has or is constructing a 10.5 tire 2002 Firebird for Hardcore Motorsports. Possibly a new car for the above mentioned or someone else? See pictures of the car:

Denny Dera built the original cage for the Vert with Jason McNeil according to the GM HTP article that was written last year. And if you are building a bad *** 10.5 car why not hire one of the baddest chassis shops around to do it. Make sure it gets done right rather then guessing. I'm sure they'll fabricate everything else beyond the chassis though.
Look in the photo really close and you will sort of see exactly how many cars Vanishing Point builds at once. I can count at least three cars being built in the photo all on chassis plates.

btw, to answer the question about december. i think ronnie and co are coming to the snowbird nationals here in tampa/bradenton on dec 3-4 or whatever it is. orlando is a POS track and not worth a damn other than the World street finals.
Yea ronnie duke is pretty much going to get that record.. he has more money than he knows what to do with..Owns a Viper, C6, 05 stang, all kinds of old muscle cars, 2 TA's(1 being the 8 second one), and his Z06.. He took me for a ride in his Z06 and it was just insane.. I don't think he will have any problem makin his TA run 7's.. he has enough people working at his shop that know what they are doin!

Guys, this is a tech board, no more gratuitous ronnie bashing in a tech thread otherwise you might get a 2 month vacation from the board. you might not like this or that about a person, but let's avoid discussing folks on a personal level... talk about turbos and superchargers and the stuff that makes them work.

and i don't think that the hardcore racing team beat that 8.11 yet, but i think they will soon. i imagine they came back up here for xmas but i think the 7.99 barrier will be broken well before march or april.
