Seven Second LS1 Rumor I have several close friends that tell me a seven second LS1 will be out here very shortly.Can this be True my SS only goes 10.57 an that scares me.Holly smokes sevens that like 180 plus MPH.

It's not Meaney's. I think there either talking about APE or Duke. I know Ronnie wants his record back. 
I also know that APE is going to run there car again. But not sure if they will have enough time to get it dialed in.
I will say this: If nobody goes 7's with a LS1 this year. I guarantee it will happen the first of next year.

I just to to my a buddy he told me for sure it's a Trans Am possilby a Convertilbe.So I doubt it's APE but they are a good bunch of guys Thunder was so cool.Hope to run next year when I got more power ms/pa went 8.93 this year with an LS1.

Not sure about LS1, but there is an HPE LT1 car easily on its way to 7's. I think its a TA too...
It ran 8.3 with tranny probs and I think quite a bit less power than it has currently...

We are going to the track again on the 20th of this month. We will keep running her all winter, down south to get her tuned up for the shootout in Atlanta. Like Mike said, we need to get everything working together on the car. We have the power to get to the 7's but everything needs to work together. We're going to try 20% less boost for next weekend and see what she does. There you go Kyle, she will be detuned!!
The Ohio boy's and Harlan are pretty damn close, if they run more this year you could see that first 7 second LS1!!

I don't think Duke is trying for 7's with the t-top car. I think his W2W built vert will be back out before to long. I've heard he got a bunch of weight out of it.

Rumor had it Duke got a FULL carbon body made. Hood, fenders, doors, rear quaters, etc etc.
