Default wastegate and BOV size

doing a custom turbo setup. looking for 700-800hp
what size wastegate would work? what is too small? what do you base the size on? also does anyone have an opion on what is a good one for the money? im looking at Tial ones. just trying to determine size. 38mm, 40, 44?

On blow off valves. also what do you base the size on? does a $200. one really do much more than one off of a stock eagle talon? my last procharger setup had one off a talon. seemed fine.

thanks.

Speed Inc has nice 42mm units...they are hybrid but have worked well for me in the past so I just got another sett...Both for under $700 if I recall. NIce billett units. Im focused on the same HP range .
With these WG's I used a 50mm Tial Bov.

Tial all the way, the best in the business. a close second however are the HKS GT series wastegates, and the Greddy type R BOV.

the bov size relates to the airflow/turbo size. stock 1G DSM BOV's start to leak at about 18 psi, and have about a 19mm hole in them. Probably wouldnt have the size to release all that air a big turbo would be pushing.

Tial 44MM gate and a Tial 50MM bov. I'm running both of these on my car, they work great.
