13k is just the down payment into f.i. But it is fun. enjoy!!

I agree...
I got lots into mine w/ no regrets.
Any hotrod new or old will get about 40cents on the doller if your lucky.
Unless you restore a no. match hemi or zl1.
Everyone and their mother have vetts. My 5th grade teacher had a 427 vett.
my friends grandmother has a vett. I love vetts, (nothing handeles better) but Id take a boosted f-body over one any day. My black cherry 71 rs-z turns more heads then any new vett. The only time I think us boosted f-body dudes are going to want our money back is when the 427 zo6 comes out......

Yeah once I saw the final specs on the ZO6 I was and still am in AWE!! The current ZO6 is deffanitly not as common as the C5 on the streets... But then again have a dieing bread Firebird with a Twin Turbo sounds pretty sweet too!! Tough call!! Maybe I'll just have both..

There is no way in hell I or most of the people I know would want a C6 over what is soon to be parked in your driveway. Ive owned 2 C5's and my parents have owned vettes for the last 25 years... a new one every 2 years. IMO opinion THAT is a waste. Besides, that C6 will depreciate when you drive it off the lot and substantially once they are in abundance enough to no longer allow dealers to do 5K over invoive pricing.
$30K for the car that you will be driving is a steal IMO. I got my Tahoe for almost 10K under sticker (my pops is the fleet manager) and I will probably have 15K in it by the time it gets into the 12's.
Value is in the eye of the beholder.
