Man I hope this TT kit will be worth it!!! First off I have a 2000 TA, WS6 A4. Well I just got the final invoice on how much the CAS TT Kit, Fuel System, Boost Controller, Gauges, 12 Bolt, plus a few more things... Everything installed came out to about $13,000!!! Please tell me this will be worth downing this much money into a car that probably won't get $13,000 if I re sold it, lol!!!
This is my dream car and with all this I'd say I have downed 30K in it!!! I am not trying to brag but this addiction is getting out of control!!! Instead of all this I could put a down payment on a new C6 or something like that, but I have no room for another car.. Please tell me if I will be happy with everything over all and is worth it!!! I really need the support after finding out the final numbers!!! Thanks all!!!

A new C6 wont hold a candle to the feeling you will get when those turbos kick your *** into that seat. Especially when the roads are full of them, and your passing them with a smile and while playing PS2. I want you to find this thread after you get your car and tell me I was 100% correct...cause I am.

Well, you may be able to find a cheaper kit. PTK has a new kit coming out (I've mentioned it so many times I think I should get paid now ) you might want to see what it can do.

He allready has Jammer's old BIG CAS kit.
You will defenitly get a huge kick out of the turbo setup but you have to be prepared to spend even more then that 13K. FI is just a bottomless pit, but their's nothing else like it.

It's not an investment so most of us are not worried about getting a decent return when we sell. I started with a new car and all new parts and would be lucky to get 40 cents on the dollar.
Biggest issue is f-body depreciation, values continue to plummet. Alwas better to take off parts before sale as the parts don't depreciate as fast.
13k is just the down payment into f.i. But it is fun. enjoy!!

First off I don't have Jammer's old kit.. My CAS is a pretty different kit.. (Ask Jammer).... Speed Ink is doing all the labor and I find their pricing as good as it comes. I paid 13K total for;
CAS-6,500 installed
Strange 12 Bolt-2,500 installed
Fuel System-600 installed (seller gave me his fuel pump)
Innovative Boost Controller
Ported Throttle Body
SLP Bellows
Dyno Tune
PCM Tune
HID Lights
Plus a few more things that I can't remember off hand.....
Oh I already have a lot of mods including an underrated 3200 Vigilante Stall and Maximum Evil Stage 3 Tranny, so I doubt my car will have a problem with running 8psi on a stock motor.

Hehe.. I think this will be it for this 05' mods... This year was the Vigilante 3200 Stall and Maximum Evil Stage 3 Tranny which I posted above.... I think for 05' I will be lifting the bar for a while to come. But then again maybe I will put in an 06' 427 Z06 motor that's coming out soon..

You were treated very fair pricewise from what I see...I cant help but wonder if Speed Inc has installed a CAS kit with turbos this size...Pretty sure they havent...as i was previously the only one to have bought a kit to come with 60s, though I never installed them and just went bigger. In my case I used TO4E;s in place of TO4B's, and that required some slight modding of the inner fender well (small hole in frame area). I think 13k is a deal. As far as PTK...enough already..lets see them ship, until then, lets just wait some more.
