can anyone help out an N/A guy???
as you can see from my sig, i don't have a blower or turbo, but i'm trying to run a vacuum gauge and i need some help....
i've done a search and it seems the easiest vacuum/boost source is the brake booster line. my problem is the brake booster line looks to be about a 3/4 inch hose and the vacuum line to the gauge is a 1/8" plastic tube (i think it's 1/8" anyhow.)
anyway, im betting there's NO tee-fitting made that'll reduce that small. i'm hoping somebody can show me a picture of your setup for tapping the brake booster line for your boost gauge. my idea is hopefully to use some kind of manifold-type block fitting large enough for the booster line and thread a compression fitting type deal into the third port. (the same one that seals the back of the gauge.)
any input would be appreciated because i'm trying to figure out a non-rube goldberg solution to this.

Mike feel further back on the intake where the brake booster connects and you will feel a smaller vacum line that leads towards the pasenger side of the car and it will accept a small T like you are looking for etc... you can pic one up at any local auto parts store for sure. That is the vacum source for the A/C system etc. Good luck it is hard to feel but you can get it just take your time.
