Cause my turbo that I have now is leaking from the oil seals, and might as well go bigger. He he!

But my budget is tight so I'll go with any other brand turbo that will fit, and is the same size as pt 63.

Just go with a PTE-76GTQ. That will bolt in to the system with very little modification if any.

if your budget is tight why not get the one you have repaired? heck they may even cover it under warranty as you just have a leak.

Repair sounds like a good idea, the only problem is that I only have one car. If its not under warranty how much does the repair cost? Any idea on a typical price on a rebuild.

Just got a T76 rebuilt by TTi. Cost $475 out the door, not real cheap if you ask me. Yours might be a little cheaper but probably not much.

Later,
Dave

Thanks Dave. And Jose I just went on your site, prices on your turbos are pretty good.
I was thinking buying a new turbo like another pt63 and sending my old one for rebuild later. That way I have a spare just in case...knowing my luck with breaking things.

if its not your fault i dont see how they could charge you more than parts cost which is a couple hundred, and if you put your story to them right i am sure they could turn it around inside of a week.
