Pondering the Future Just curious has anyone pondered the potential of the new 2005 GTO as far as power numbers are concerned? Stock the LS2 makes about 400 HP and 400 TRQ, right? Turbocharge it see an average increase of ~60%? Now factor in about ~13% drive line loss. You get 556 HP, to me that's pretty impressive. Let's see those new little Mustangs throw down numbers like that with just one power adder, and maintain driveability. These are very impressive times people, we are finally getting back to our roots when cars were cars and not well..........rice. And we are starting to make good looking cars again. The new Vette is obviously a looker, the new GTO, much improved especially with new syling kit. I can't wait to see these new beauties get blown, I think we'll see some very impressive numbers.
very true but (not bashing) the price to FI the GTO/F-body is ALOT more $ than what it costs to do FI in a mustang, I must agree the 2005 GTO is onw of the nicest cars ive seen in recent memory
