Default New Ls1 Record 8.11@169

just head Ronnie Duke ran 8.11@169. not in his convertable, but his t-top car, based on the pictures. if this is true its a 402 iron block with 6.0 heads (maybe, as thats what it was at the TA nats)

I heard he threw the belt on that 8.11 pass. Is that true?

he swapped out motors? when i talked to him at the TAnats it was a 400+ iron block, with 6.0 heads, but could have changed, even the iron block had a dry sump then.

lol i was about a day late on this thread, guss thats what happens when your internet is down

wonder if hardcore is going to get on here and tell us about it, or are they still going to fix the drivetrain and make another pass.

he probably tossed a belt after the traps on decel... thats a very normal thing to do with you close the throttle blades and dont have sufficient valving to blow off excess boost..

don't C5R motors have the distributor in the front, that sure looks like a c5r in there to me. that car leaves straight as hell.

looks like harlan has the #2 spot now, think they should run to see who's really king of the hill!

C5R motors don't have distributors. Looks like he swapped motors to the C5R setup though.

Id bet that the stock ingintion system couldnt hold enough spark for him, so he went with that setup.

Its not a distributor, its MSD belt driven ingnition
