How much is 1psi equal to in terms of power?
I made a mistake. I said that I had 328RWHP with lower compression, and stage 1 heads and the Hotcam. That's incorrect. I would probibly make about 380 or so tot he wheels with that setup. So my effective RWHP per PSI is even worse off with the 11psi. Instead of 26RWHP per psi. It's about 21.9 RWHP per PSI..

Thru the T400, I bet my current engine would make no better than 350rwhp. So that's probably a 400rwhp gain with 19-20psi. I think that my peak is soft right now so the combo might look more inefficient that what I can make happen with reshimming the springs.

With a huge GT55 feeding air into a HUGE 408 is going to have no trouble doing 700 RWHP at under 10 pounds of boost. A friend of mine has a 1995 Cobra with a 377" motor that made about 440 RWHP off boost, and with a Turbonetics 91mm turbo at 14 psi it made 915 RWHP. I don't know about you, but 14 pounds of boost into an 8:1 compression, aluminum headed motor should stay together a long time on the street. That was too much power to drive it around on 18" BFG's so we turned it down to 11 psi for 91 octane, but it's still making over 800 RWHP. You have 30 inches on his motor, a bigger turbo, and (probably) better flowing heads. I think 700 RWHP will be a walk in the park. Look at that Twin T66 408" C5 vette on here that made over 1000 RWHP at 13 psi!
