Default Would a T91 work on a Speed Inc T88 kit?

I was just wondering? How well do you guys think the T91 would reach full boost on a low compression big cammed 408? I heard it would take to about 5,000 rpm to reach full boost

turbonetics 91 on a friends 377 car made 20 pounds of boost by 4500. Should be a bit quicker on a 408. T91 uses a T6 (Thumper) flange so if the kit is for a mid or large frame T88 it should work. If it's the one I'm thinking of where the pics of the kit were posted on here, that is a T6 flanged turbo.

are you talking about the T88 kit they had where it mounted where the battery is, or there modified turbotech kit?

id think it would fit for the battery kit, it might work for the turbotech kit with alot of adjusting.

The shop cars system is a T6 flanged mid frame 88.

We would only replicate the system on the car, and as long as moving the radiator gave me enough room for the compressor housing, building that same system with a T91 or bigger would not be a problem.

Cost? Not sure. You would have to call and talk to Tom.

As far as accessories, you would only lose A/C.

I talked to some guy there earlier, but i dun think it was Tom, and in the forest gump voice "wasn't a very smart man" or didn't seem to be. But then again all the shops I talk to want to set my car up for me. He started adding prices of tuning and a fuel system and stuff like that. I had to tell him that all I wanted was installation of the hot parts and I'de do the rest myself.

The BAD thing is that A/C is the only accessory that I DO want to keep...... I was thinking about trying to mount the compressor on top later.
