power difference between log tubular turbo manifolds?

I, for one, would not be suprised at all to see 50 RWHP on a 500 RWHP car going from logs to tubulars. I switched from a log design like you're talking about to tubular headers with merge collectors, never dyno'ed it before and after but I had to make big changes to the fueling and it started to make boost about 1000 RPM's quicker and full boost was about 500 RPM's quicker, they do make a big difference. For space constraints or for a moderate horsepower build, a log style like you're running works perfectly fine, but for a guy trying to make 1150 horsepower on pump gas there's no way I would use logs on that setup.
thanks again,
Dave
