power difference between log tubular turbo manifolds?

The reason they built the log manifold like they did is because that's what 90% of log manifolds made for hondas look like, most of them are weld-el's. They didn't do the test as a comparison for all V8 guys, they did it as a comparison for one of their specific markets.

I, for one, would not be suprised at all to see 50 RWHP on a 500 RWHP car going from logs to tubulars. I switched from a log design like you're talking about to tubular headers with merge collectors, never dyno'ed it before and after but I had to make big changes to the fueling and it started to make boost about 1000 RPM's quicker and full boost was about 500 RPM's quicker, they do make a big difference. For space constraints or for a moderate horsepower build, a log style like you're running works perfectly fine, but for a guy trying to make 1150 horsepower on pump gas there's no way I would use logs on that setup.

wow, this really blew up nicely since the last time i saw it. i have decided to have a custom set of tubulars made after all. the question like i said was just out of curiosity. i'm not concerned about the price, just the best piece for the task at hand.
