Ditto that... I've always wondered why none of the STS guys have just come right into the interior... into a A2W intercooler in the backseat, then through the firewall...

Perhaps cause this is not by any means a race car...its a family car. I pack the kids in it and go to church. Its also a 30th Anniv vert with 25k miles, so when put the stock suspension and drrivetain back in it still has value to a degree.
Not to mention that it will be cooler under the car, therefor cooling the charge, Lastly, I do have an intercooler.
I hope to get more pics up very soon...thanks for chiming in! Nice to see the comments and hear the different ideas.

So are you just going to run the IC along the frame rrails or something? Looks good. I was waiting for someone to try this. Thought you would have to eliminate the Ttop well and seal it off to get both turbos upo there.

LOL.. Your right Kurt. If I ever want to set a record or focus on 1200+ HP, we'll become friends again and I'll be visiting again.

Ever see the smiles that shine off 5 year old twins faces when doing donuts in the church parking lot with the top down??

Kidding, not that stupid.... I'd make them watch from the steps.

Note the bent and welded upper cross bar was that way from the 4" over the axel exhaust work the last shop did..that will not stay that way.

BTW- I really like the straight shot the exhaust will have coming out of the turbine :-) That will definately sound sweet.

I have flex sections....I will have to test with a smoke pipe periodically to be sure they dont leak..I never trust them.
I am making a custom upper panhard as you can see in the next pic, we chose to run the exhaust easy in favor of the stock upper panhard...a bar many have removed completely. We may just add a 3" thick aluminum block , threaded or perhaps one that bolts strait through.

.

Thanks, but not all that innovative, I can thank STS for the idea, groundwork, and support. What a great group over there.

Actually, Im going function over form here. I plan to run both the exhaust and IC pipes under the car, under the floor boards. I think me clearance is gonna be more than acceptable. Im doing this to limit the turns the air has to take, not because we were afraid of fabrication...I have a whole box of u-bends, j-bends and 45's left over...just want it to have a good chance to be productive. If there is any clearance issue, well ..then I'll change it. They are no where near the t-top well...not really..they are just inside (20" form the exhust tips.
