YSi Install info needed please
Also, how does the T Trim fit into the same bracket? Its physically smaller then G or YSi trims but is in between them in cmf discharge, and 10k less in max impeller rpm, so it shouldnt take the abnormally high rpms to max power like the YSi?
Seems less problems with the Vortech over the ATI, although the ATI/SDCE kit is rather attractive, solving the bracket flex, and tensioner....
*turbo/sc/turbo/sc/turbo/sc* ughhh.....
The vortech (v9 style) belt assembly is the best out there for the ls1...8-rib, good balancer/crank pulley, good belt wrap. However...its still a belt. Get a turbo if you have the choice and can get a good tune on the car.
I elected to mount my YSi-Trim down there the 93-97 F-Cars mount theirs. Since our alternator usually sits down there I had to relocate that. I am not sure I could have kept power steering. I think I might have been able to keep a/c but I had already removed it four years prior. My car made 738rwhp at 6500 so it's hardly a high rpm setup.
