Default Supercharger companies.

I got tired of searching....

I still know very little about these engines so bare with me.

I am looking for around 500whp stock internals. How obtainable is this with a supercharger? What are the steps to take.

You should be able to come close to that with a D1 Procharger, plus some other goodies....probably fall short of it though

My recipe:

Vortech 9 psi kit with aftercooler
1.75 long tube headers
!cats, or hi flow cats
3" catback, straight thru muffler
Dyno tune
50 lb injectors
Intank fuel pump upgrade or hot wire the stock pump (not sure on this)

Yeah PSJ is right on track with my I would think a 2.75" pulley on the G-trim setup will get you real close if not more. The Stock T-rex inline pump that comes with the Vortch kit will be fine for 500rwhp. The 38# injectors that come with the kit will get you real close. But the 42# or 50# will definatley get you there. Headers are a must as well as a good cat back. A spring change would also be recomended IMO (A 918 quality spring). That is a good start to a good setup.

Here is another kicker. Do I need to modify my hood?? This is all going in a BMW E36. I would like turbo, but I am already getting custom headers made for the swap, and I wouldnt like to touch those. Thats why I decided to go supercharger. I liked the twin screw ones, but they all needed aftermarket hoods. I would like it all to be able to fit under there nicely. There is quite a bit of room to work with. So will it fit under a stock TA hood?

Holy **** an LS1 in a BMW that thing is going to move or break every part in the drive train.

Im hoping move. I will keep engine mainly stock at the beginning, because I am not going to upgrade the rear diff until I can pay off some of the swap. I will end up swapping in a E46 M3 rear diff. That diff can hold in excess off 700whp. The one I am running now, I would not want to push past 400whp or I will have serious problems.
