You are correct, the D-1SC won't have to work as hard, and with it having cooler inlet air temps it will make more horsepower. The D-1SC won't have to be spun as hard either to make 10 psi as a P-1SC does, so the D-1SC will end up with a larger pulley on the head unit which will give it better belt wrap.
