Default Adding custom tensioners for SC setup, process?

Anyone have comments/advice on how to proceed with adding a custom tensioner to your SC setup when you have determined your stock tensioner is not up to the task?

I'm in the stock LS1 location with the tensioner on the water pump for a C5 (Not sure if F-Body tensioner in similiar location).

Where do you begin?
Any referrals?

Seems like custom bracket to stock location and fitting an aftermarket tensioner into the same location. Was thinking of calling Dayco/Goodyear/Gates tech. Anyone done this before?

Where is a good source for having custom brackets made?

You can hire someone to make you a custom tensioner, either spring or manual adjustable.
