Garrett GT42R
I was wondering is anyone running one and how it is doing with a lil bigger cubes then stock.
I have been looking at the compressor map of this turbo and from what i can tell think ill be in the 74% region. Will this turbo make 800rwhp and do it while using under 18 psi of boost on my 370???
Here is the air consumption of a 370.

Anyone be of any help????
Thanks

The 42R will more than support that power however.
Thanks guys even with the 102mm, 53Trim Compressor??? I added that after i posted sorry..... I do shift now at 6600rpm....... but dont want to spin the crap out of the motor.... the goal is 800rwhp on a Mustang dyno thru my 6 speed and 10 bolt (For now) if it doent break on the dno. Should i just go back to our original idea and stick with a T-88????
Thanks
Kyle
Just doesn't push enough air to make 800 to the tire at 18psi, 19 would get you closer

Thanks Matt for the Help.

88 would probably fit better

Thanks Matt...... any idea how much boost it wil take with a T-88 to make 800rwhp??
With this compressor map....shouldnt be anywhere near chokng it with it....

Looks to be 78% efficient all the way up tp 20 psi even shifting at 6500 rpm.
Thanks

But, it should take about the same boost even w/ the 88. Charge temps should be a little lower, so it should make a little more power
