what internal workings are better than the P1sc on the D1sc unit?
I think that it has to do with the impeller design that lets it move more air....I think.

The transmissions are identical between the P1SC and the D1SC. The only differences are the backing plate, impeller, and compressor housing (volute). That's it.

Also, if I am going to spend the money, I would rather spend a little more and go bigger than what I need and have some room to grow. I have also heard that the D1 and F1 will spool faster at lower RPM's.

How much boost were you running through the P1SC you had?
11Psi on my 621RWHP pull... Did the dyno 15 minutes after I got off the road, and my 621 was my 2nd pull. My 1st pull spun the tires on the dyno... Fun...

Go with a D1. I purchased the P1 because I f'n live in Cali. It comes with a carb number. I wish I would have got the D1 but it is too late. I am still putting down some good numbers. I got 460rwhp on my setup.

Too cool! I had a TNT kit on my Z and I rode in a buddy of mine's Z that had a 355 with a Vortech S trim running 10 pounds. The motor was pretty well built and it made 574 RWHP through a 12 bolt. After that ride, I was bitten by the FI bug and I sold all my N2O accessories and the kit and now I have my AFR 210's, forged Cola crank, Manley H beams and I getting ready to order pistons for my blower buildup. I ma wanting to make 650 RWHP+. It's going to take a while, but I can't wait.
