Nicely done sir!! It seems to me like the easy fix would be to route some air through there. Have any artist friends who could come up with a bad *** body mod?

How about a heavier truck and smaller turbo? Willing to adjust for weight?

Brady, tell Rick to send me a 76GTS

I see the same from my manifolds. Have you checked your EGTs? Mine even tend to glow at night during normal driving.

I have always heard you want the pyrometer right in front of the turbo

I hate my pyro... always beeping and buzzing

Just out of curiosity, Jim, what's your truck weigh? 4800?

Autometer says right after the turbo, or right off the exhaust port for NA. I have mine right at the end of the stock manifold. I have been checking into it because my engine builder was concerned because of the temps i see. Idle is around 1000F and normal driving is 1200-1400F. Boost climbs usually up into the 1500 area, but i have seen 1600. This is measuring the backpressure side of the turbo. The A/F is basically good, so just checking around to see what others are seeing.
