Congrats Fellas on the first to the 7's!

the way i see it though, at least the hardcore guys are practicing one thing right....

Being one of the SLOW cars at the track for the day!!

Im sure the outcome will be the same come time when all the OTHER LS1 cars get there **** out and ready to play.... Ohio boys, APE cars, Stenod Performance cars, Wheel 2 Wheel! i think all should be one hell of a competition for duke.... And im sure when we all finally get together the outcome will most likely be the same... Ronie Dukes Hardcore car pulling up the rear of the pack...

If you set something on kill for a TNT pass records can be broken.I want to see that car compete and stay together for a whole event.Good job on the new record.

Details!

How much spray - boost - weight - tail wind etc...

I think we have establised a rule for recods to be broken in 2005 they must be made during an event in qualifying or eliminations to actually go in the LS1Tech books.

if it is so easy why do the almighty turbo cars not have a 7 second slip yet? they can come down to bradenton and pay admission like everyone else.

as for records only recognized in ls1tech shootouts...i guess no one wants records set huh? give me a break. only allowed to make records at what, 3 or 4 events (maybe).

What does it matter if he did it at a private track rental, TNT, or during a bracket program. The car went 7s...that's all there is to it and it's faster than anyone else has ever gone w/ that motor. Now someone just has to go faster...who's gonna be in the 6s first?

I can't believe no one said "It doesn't count because it's a C5R motor!"

congrats on having the first C5R to reach sevens, a truely remarkable feet.

i think lots of turbo cars will be in the sevens as soon as they start hitting the track.

the ls1tech series records are to be honored if run at one of our events, similiar to what the mustang guys do.

hardcore racing should know this was being discussed provided they read the sponser section.

though they havent run a seven untill they show proof

Congrats on the new record..., it's impressive no matter how many power adders were on the car. It's going to be interesting to watch Stenod, Hardcore, APE, the Ohio guys, and W2W in the outlaw class!

Ok, so it won't be in the 'LS1Tech record books' but it's still the first LS1 F-body in the 7's. Just like Jim Head's car is known as the fastest 'stock suspension' f-body in the world. You can't take that away from them.
