Your car is just awesome!
Are you the guy with arms as big as my legs? If so I remember seeing you and your girl. She has bigger arms than me. Should have come over and said hey.

I would also like to thank our crew. I think with the parts that are on the way(should have already been on the car) we will reach our goal the next time out. But for now we will be happy with our 8.21 ET. Still not to bad for a hydro cam, stock intake/throttle body, and 6.0 manifolds in a 3500lb car.
Here are some numbers with leaving at 5-6psi of boost. 10psi would leave good but ramp so fast that it was at 30 before the 60' mark and spin.

........1...........2...........3
60'- 1.31-----1.33-----1.35
1/8- 5.25-----5.28-----5.32
mph-138.86--138.16---137.21
1/4- 8.30-----8.21-----8.21
mph-155.68---152.41--167.41

1 is when the pipe blew off. 2 is when it got out of the groove at the top and lifted. 3 is a full pass.

This event was awesome with many badass cars. I loved the Pro Mod Vette with twin 101mm on a 600cu. motor. Had top mph at the event at 225. I talked to the woman driving the car and they are still shaking out the bugs. They were running 25psi but have done testing to 35 with traction problems.

I assumed you had some last minute stuff you were working on and it was my first time at a track and I didnt know what is and isnt O.K. We will definately stop by and say hi next time. I cant wait to hear what you guys can do later in the season. Good luck!! You guys definately have more left in that setup!

cant compare the titan cars. they are prostock chasis cars. nothing OEM about them. throw an LS1 turbo in an old NHRA prostock car and we can start comparing.

greentahoe - i think i remember you if you had the big jacked up arms. my arms look like that (in my mind). me, my wife, and my dad were there on sat, had a great time.

No matter what anybody say's, you guys have the most impressive LS1 out there. Given the parts and the budget constraints you guys work with, it is incedible to hear the numbers and ET's you guys run!

Congrats!

Most important point of all Mike.....and that has definitely been highly understated in the past!

On this pass the car went 5.28@139 in the 1/8th with a very soft 1.31 60 ft. so it was on a pass for sure. The second 8.21 the car got a little out of the groove about 1000' and i just lifted. Car ran great all weekend with the exception of a slight leak in the water pump which mike riged up a fix for to get us through eliminations. I'm not sure if we would have had anything for hardcores 7.94 but we were giving it hell trying!! Ran about 29-30 psi all weekend with no motor issues what so ever, the wheel 2 wheel 403 is awesome, it's coming out shortly and going back to kurt for routine inspection and freshening. If we had the bank roll like some of these teams we would covert to solid roller, big nasty cam, afr's,carb intake,105mm T/B, and spin it to 8k with about 35 psi. Then we would really see who's faster. We really need to get the bigger tire on the car now, the 28x10.5w is just not enough, hopefully the 29.5x10.5w will be much better we'll see in Atlanta. Thanks to everyone for their support and comments hoping for 7's someday
I am super impressed with what you guys are doing, keep up the good work.
You will really like the 29Ws we have gone 8.05 @ 3450lbs with them.
We are hoping for 7.8s this year with the head gasket issue resolved and a set of GT-42s.

8.21 is damn fast no matter how you look at it, using 6L exhaust manifolds and all makes it even more so. Looking forward to seeing you guys run next year.
