You could list the fastest times set at a tech event under those rules. That should make the different combo's fairly equal.
Then have a nothing matters but the engine list for the street cars.

You can't define what is or is not a shop car. Some of the guys in our shop are building a car together, but its not owned or funded by our shop. We do call it the shop car sometimes, but it is owned and funded by our own Dave Brown(AKA "Whitey"), a fabricator.

It would be cool if you could include a matrix of raceweight, engine type, head type and power adder or NA. What type of tires would be cool also.

Not a "real" shop, but they do stuff on their sides for people from the local board to help fund their own racing stuff. They are a group of friends that work on cars together and help out other racers on the side, but that doesn't mean the work they do is anything less than a person who does it for a living.

Forget the shop/no shop crap. Run the number and that's all she wrote.

I agree with Kurt. That helps level the playing field so we can at least make fair comparisons of et/mph vs weight and what not. Running a 9.0 at 2500 lbs is not as tough as 9.0 at 3500 lbs obviously.
