I think the engine Kurt posted was one for Moran's car, but I'm not positive. You're talking about the thread about the staged injection for bs3 right?

It's a NRC (Jeff Naiser, fastest Small block nitrous outlaw car, 4.64@158) built 399 ci. Basically it's a small block (8.0 Deck) with Big Block Canted valve heads> All Custom basically, built by jeff Naiser and Brian "Lump" Self. Naiser is currently building a big block Chevy on nitrous, that motor and todds turbo SBC are projected to run in the 4.40 range on 10.5's this season. Todd Moyers turbo 3rd gen has very little runs on it and we're just now getting a grip on tuning the clutch. Watch out, Texas will have some bad boys this year in Outlaw 10.5, True 10.5 and LS1 Tech

Is that Moyers car with the silver flames? When PTK built that kit it was
on a different car and I have not seen the new car yet.

Talking Moyer and Lynch/Petty cars run Pro Turbo Kits

Both of the these awesome cars are running PTK Turbo power adders! We have a few more twin customers comming out in a few months that are going to be making More Power than both these cars!

We are proud to be associated with both Todd Moyer and Steve Petty/Tim Lynch race programs! Both of these teams are real go getters!

Both these cars I know for a fact have more left in their tune-ups! I expect both these cars to run 6.80's at 209-215 mph this spring on 10.5" W Tires with stock type front suspension @ 3000 lbs.

You need to check out the big race at Cecil County that is gonna be $10,000 to win! My brother in law qualified #2 at the World Street Finals and just won the US Street Nationals in Tampa 2 weeks ago by beating Billy Glidden with a 7.05@198 in Mobley's 69 Camaro. He will be in the 6.80 or 6.90's for sure this season as he only has about 25 passes with this current set-up and has already gone 7.05. Keep you eye out for the GM Motorsport boys.

4.40's on 10.5W's are YEARS away! There is NO way that anyone will run 4.40's this season in a "legal" 10.5w car. As for Lynch, he is definately haulin' ***. Too bad most places have changed their rules which won't allow him to run his current twin turbo set-up. That's why he wasn't at the US Street National 2 weeks ago.

I wouldnt say there is NO way that some1 will run in the 4.4's. Moyer went a 4.54 on his 6.94 pass I know there is more in that car. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens this season.

There is always "more" left in every car, and that car is no different. I'm sure the car can improve on the 6.94, but it ain't 4.4x in the eighth on 10.5w's...not this year. Good luck to anyone runnin' those kinda numbers tho!

A 4.4 will be very possible this year. Some of the new regulated boost controllers are going to let turbo cars come out even harder and faster in the 1/8th. Some of the new cars being built are also getting significantly lighter as well. It's all going to add up for a few people this year.

I'd have to agree u might see a 4.40 out of a true 10.5W car this yr but it'll take a perfect everything for it to happen.

I think we just might turn the boost up, right now we're running 24lbs. But like I said we still learning everything on the car, so for now we're just sticking with what we got.
